Every day for 10 days, professional Vocal Coach Becky Gilhespie will lead you through a series of short, targeted exercises for body, mind and voice.
You will be part of a safe online community with Becky to answer questions. Get your voice into great shape and form healthy habits of knowing how to warmup and workout your voice by completing the daily challenges.

WHERE?
Online, Everyday for 10 days
Upon enrolling, you will receive a link to a private Facebook group. The challenge will stream there, everyday.
WHEN?
Wednesday 1st May to Friday 10th May
10 online LIVE vocal workouts, with a technique and mindset focus emailed to you everyday
10:30am BST (available on catchup too!)
The workouts will last approximately 15-20 minutes maximum each day.
All levels are welcome
You can take it in your own pace. There won't be time for a lot of lecturing and tex book style learning - just the doing by hands on experiences (which we this is the best way to learn anyway). Becky will guide you to discover new areas of your voice plus learn how to start sounding great.

This challenge is perfect to "dust off the cobwebs"! You'll learn lots of tips on how to incorporate technique and strategy into your singing, but most importantly, you'll FEEL the difference after these 10 consecutive days.

Your voice will be worked, stretched, opened and become even more flexible! It won't take away from any technique you already have in place. Becky will give ideas on how to make the challenge more, er, challenging for those who want it!
Becky Gilhespie Vocal Coach
Becky Gilhespie is an experienced contemporary voice coach, working with professional singers, musicians, actors, singer songwriters, bands and many hobbyists too. Her experience includes running successful central London studios and working at The Academy of Contemporary Music.
For many years Becky studied extensively with elite industry vocal coaches Seth Riggs and Associates. Becky is now an Associate Teacher of leading voice educator John Henny, an accredited member of International Voice Teachers of Mix, and a qualified Vocal Health First Aider.
Becky is passionate about supporting mindset shifts in her clients so they can break through their barriers to success around singing and performing. She wrote and self-published a book about this subject over the pandemic, called Singing for the Self-Conscious.
Becky is a Sing Space recommended coach and has presented some other great programmes in addition to regularly running The Vocal Gym, such as The Singer's Toolkit.

This challenge is good for singers of all levels. The daily vocal workouts are designed to gently wake up and warmup your voice, stretch out your range, optimise your breathing, balance the pressure in and out on your voice, create more efficiency, flow, flexibility and movement. Becky will walk you through everything during the workouts and you don't need to be an advanced singer to take part.
There will be options for making the workouts more challenging for those who want to step things up a gear!
All you need to do is logon to our private FB group and follow along with the daily live streamed workouts. You won't be shown on camera. There will be some opportunities throughout the challenge to post your progress via FB posts in the group, should you want to, but this is totally optional and not necessary part of the challenge. The Sing Space condones a very supportive and friendly environment and only kind and courteous comments will be allowed on any posts in group from fellow challengers.
Although the times are optimised for the UK (10:30am daily), the sessions are all live streamed and will be easily available to watch after they've gone live each day. This means you can take part even if you are busy or live in another time zone.
Every session is filmed and live streamed so you can watch at home or on catch up. To make the most of the challenge, we do recommend you aiming to not get too behind and do each short workout on catch up within 24 hours so you can start to form good habits and start to see your progress!
No, as this is a very low cost course, we won't be able to offer any refunds due to lack of admin time and fees. We don't think you will regret joining though! The Facebook group will remain open for you to watch the recorded videos over and over again.
